Cheerios are now drugs
So if you know anyone who eats them, it's time to have an intervention.

I don't remember the last time I had breakfast, coffee or cheerios. I am not a traditionalist when it comes to sating one's early morning appetite.

People want to ban all sorts of food as a 'drug'. Some in people Australia wanted to ban energy drinks such as V and red bull because of the high amount of sugar and caffeine. France did ban red bull for a while but didn't want too. (souce: http://www.ausfoodnews.com.au/2008/0...-red-bull.html)
Eat with a lot of less foods with sugar and for snacks, eat fruits. I know some people cant do as something a simple as that because of their diet or diseases. But if you eat bad food as a part of your diet, you will pay for it later with health costs.

Guess why they are called drugs then, not candies.
Guess. No, come on. Try to guess.
They all have a much higher chance of addicting the user than other products. And all of them have some effect on the user. What, you will say marijuana is safe? It only gets you high? Why does it get high? Because it screws with your brain. You might as well smell glue.

Caffeine is a drug that does a lot of harm yet I bet you or someone you know has it as drink. Think about all the people that drink coffee everyday! But have you taken antibiotics to get over a cold or illness? Or a pain killer for a headache?
Point it that everyone apart from some small groups because of religion take drugs to do all sort of things and not all drugs are bad. I find it hilarious that you criticize marijuana and not alcohol or tobacco which are drugs that are also legal at a certain age and do so much damage. Everyone does drugs and doing a lot of a certain drug is bad for you, so moderate yourself.

Yes, caffeine is a drug. But honestly, except for the boost and later a slow down, it doesn't do much. Okay, blood pressure too, but that's because of the aforementioned boost.
Oh, and here comes the biggest problem with the English language - drugs have the same meaning as medicines. That's why people confuse drugs like aspirin with drugs like cocaine. But I don't deny it - people often get addicted to pain killers or cough medicine.
Religions don't use drugs. Cults do. Any religion that exposes to you any harm (for example, Jehovah's Witnesses can't get a blood transfer, even if they might die) is a cult. Same goes it they force you to take stuff that might affect your body and mind.
I don't criticize alcohol and tobacco? Sure I do. Tobacco creates lung cancers (my grandma was a heavy smoker, died ten years ago because of a cancer) and affects people in a wider range. Alcohol? It destroys lives and people. I know at least two families affected by alcoholizm, one is at the edge of tearing apart.

Caffeine doesn't do much?
Look at this
It is not a problem with the English language, it is a problem on how people use the word drug. Medicine could be seen as taking ones care of someone with giving or taking any drugs at all. The problem is that drugs are usually seen as a derogatory term because people see drugs and criticize their use or what they do to some people. Ironically, a lot of drugs that are legal(alcohol) can do much more harm than illegal drugs, the point is that people think alcohol is safer because its legal than some illegal drugs without even knowing about the illegal drug in the first place.
They're a lot of bad drugs, but they're also a lot of good ones and I guess people need to know more about drugs instead of always running away from the idea. The U.S has a war on illegal drugs because people have deemed what is illegal is bad even though the most popular question towards the president by the public about 2 months was about the legalization of weed.
Drugs are OKAY in moderation, but people need to open up more than to shut down ideas without even taking the drug. Why? Because lets face it, drugs are a hot topic that is full of biased opinion. The only person you can trust is your own.
